When we moved to Sarasota full-time two years ago, I didn’t know a soul outside of family.
Starting a boutique sounded exciting, but also a little lonely.
I figured I’d launch online, do a few pop-ups, and just… see what happened.
What happened was more than I could’ve imagined.
One day, my husband casually suggested I invite a few of the wives from his golf group to see the clothes.
I invited 30 and 60 showed up.
I didn’t know most of them—but they came. They supported me. They encouraged me.
And just like that, something began to bloom.
As I continued doing pop-ups and showing up at local events, I met more women.
Two years later, some of those women feel like lifelong friends.
We laugh until we cry.
We do girl’s nights and ladies’ lunches.
We sit around my kitchen table with coffee… and usually end with wine.
I didn’t realize how deeply I needed this season of connection.
